The bonito del Norte is one of its highest quality varieties, since it is characterized by having an exquisite flavor and a softer texture than that of the rest of its species.

After its fishing with a hook, it is peeled and packaged. They simply contain bonito del norte, olive oil and salt. Once opened it must be kept refrigerated.

The consumption of this fish tends to be higher than that of meat, since, although they are equal in proteins, minerals and vitamins, the fat content of fish is percentage less.

Likewise, bonito is an important source of antioxidant compounds, basic to prevent certain types of cancer.
