Storage

Keep in a cool place. Once the jar is opened, refrigerate and keep covered in oil.

Long-lasting preserve: best before date indicated on the label (usually several years from production). Once opened, keep refrigerated, covered with oil, and consume within 4–5 days.

Authentic Albacore Tuna: the most prized tuna for its white meat, soft texture, and delicate flavor — far superior to conventional light tuna.

Line-caught: fished one by one using traditional methods during the summer season in the Cantabrian Sea — selective and sustainable fishing.

Peeled and hand-packed, in the artisanal style of northern canneries.

The smart format: the flakes come from the processing of the loins — same great tuna, more affordable, and already shredded for cooking.

Only three ingredients: albacore tuna, olive oil, and salt.

430g drained glass jar: generous size, you see what you're buying, and pantry-stable (no refrigeration until opened).

Taste: delicate and clean, characteristic of albacore tuna — finer and less metallic than other canned tuna, rounded out by olive oil.

Texture: soft and juicy, in tender flakes and crumbles that integrate perfectly into any preparation.

The ultimate Russian salad: bonito flakes are the secret to award-winning salads — they distribute better than chunks of loin and taste just as good.
Galician empanada and savory pastries: the perfect format for fillings, with no chopping required.
Top-notch sandwiches and subs: with roasted peppers, with tomato and house-made black olives, or on a mollete roll with mayonnaise.
Everyday and party salads: Valencian tomato, pasta, or legume salads — ready in 10 seconds.
Express tapas: on top of stuffed hard-boiled eggs, on toast with piparra peppers, or with our balsamic baby onions for a perfectly balanced sweet and sour flavor.
Top tip: don't drain all the oil — the bonito juice is a free dressing for the salad.

Bonito del Norte (Atlantic White Tuna) line-caught in the Cantabrian Sea during the summer fishing season and artisanally prepared by Conservas Emilia, a cannery from Santoña (Cantabria), following the traditional method: cooked, peeled, and hand-packed. Selected by SalazonArte for its stand at the Central Market of Valencia.

Before opening: no refrigeration required — store in a cool, dry place, away from light (pantry item).
Once opened: keep refrigerated and always covered with oil, preferably in the original sealed jar; consume within 4–5 days.
The oil may solidify slightly when cold: this is normal, it will return to its original state at room temperature.
