At SalazonArte, the security of your payments is a priority. The entire online store operates on the Shopify platform, one of the most widely used and audited e-commerce systems in the world, and the payment process is carried out entirely in a secure and encrypted environment.

All pages on salazonarte.com — not just the payment process — are served under the TLS (HTTPS) encryption protocol, identifiable by the padlock icon displayed by the browser next to the address. This encryption guarantees two things:

•     That you are communicating with the authentic SalazonArte store server, and not with a third party attempting to impersonate it.

•     That data travels encrypted between your device and the server, so it cannot be read or manipulated by third parties during transmission.

Payments are processed through certified payment gateways compliant with the international standard PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), the security level required for entities processing cards worldwide. Shopify is certified at the highest level of this standard (Level 1).

SalazonArte never accesses the complete data of your card or any other payment method, and therefore does not store it. Data entry is done directly in the secure environment of the payment gateway, which transmits it encrypted to your financial institution.

In accordance with European payment services regulations (PSD2), card transactions include strong customer authentication (3-D Secure): your bank may ask you to confirm the purchase using your app, an SMS code, or your fingerprint, which prevents anyone from using your card without your authorization.

In the SalazonArte online store, you can pay with the main payment methods, which are shown updated during the purchase process itself, including credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and others), as well as other electronic payment methods and payment solutions that are incorporated at any given time. All of them operate under the same encryption and certification guarantees described on this page.

If you detect any unauthorized or fraudulent charge related to a purchase in our store, please notify us as soon as possible at info@salazonarte.com so that we can take appropriate action, without prejudice to your right to also notify your bank. SalazonArte also applies anti-fraud controls to orders and may suspend those that show signs of fraudulent use of payment methods, in accordance with the General Terms of Use and
